Sales Development Representative (SDR) REMOTE

About the position:

Sales development representatives (SDRs) are responsible for outbound sales prospecting. This is an entry level position. Rather than trying to close deals, their work revolves around generating and qualifying new leads—and moving them through the sales pipeline, until they’re ready to talk to account executives ("closers"). This two-step system enables sales reps and account executives to focus on closing deals, rather than finding new leads, getting past gatekeepers, and other prospecting-related tasks. The SDR job role is an opportunity to learn what working in a sales career is like, and a gateway to eventually becoming an AE once the SDR learns the industry and develops his/her skills. Equipped with well-researched information about target prospects and your company, SDRs build a solid understanding of the industry and sales process to spark meaningful conversations. As a result, they spend much of their time reaching out to potential clients through the early stages of the sales funnel, either preparing prospects to speak with a closer or screening their true intention to buy. This is an inside sales job. Our office is in Grand Rapids, MI but we are accepting applications for remote workers.
