Liquid Ring Vacuum Pumps
Liquid ring vacuum pumps are an alternative to rotary vane vacuum pumps. The combination of the
liquid ring vacuum pumps casing and its multi-bladed impeller forms a ring of liquid, resulting in compression. Throughout every revolution
of the liquid ring vacuum pumps, each rotor chamber is filled and emptied, producing a piston action within each impeller blade.
Liquid ring vacuum pumps, are used in many industries for the evacuation of both dry and wet gases, have the ability to deal with condensable vapors or even small slugs of liquid entrained in the incoming gas. The condensing effect, occurring at the liquid ring as it makes contact with the incoming gas, can greatly enhance the upstream capacity of the
vacuum pumps.
Corrosion resistant, compact, easy to install, and very quiet, liquid ring vacuum pumps are very versatile pieces of equipment. These
liquid ring vacuum pumps are mainly found in applications in the plastics industry, refining industry, power industry, medical equipment, general industry, process engineering, and more. The food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and pulp and paper industries also frequently use liquid ring vacuum pumps.
