Injection molded parts can be any of the following: packaging, bottle caps, automotive parts, automotive components, wire spools, combs, musical instruments, chairs, tables, containers, mechanical parts, gears, and many other plastic parts. In fact, just about any plastic part you can think of can be made from the injection molding process, making injection molded parts very diverse and versatile.

The injection molding process is a relatively simple concept, a material is heated and then injected into a mold, once the material fills the mold it is cooled and the material hardens in the shape of the mold. The mold is designed based on the final product which means that once the mold is removed, the material is in the final shape. Once the plastic shape has been removed from the mold it just needs to go through a few final finishing processes before it is complete.
