Plastic products are used in a wide variety of applications, as consumer products as well as components for industrial and consumer goods. Some common products made exclusively or primarily of plastic include plastic bags, tarps or covers for trucks and boats, swimming pool covers and liners, exhaust piping, and pipefitting parts.

Plastic products may be made with a CNC machine, be molded or extruded, or go through a combination of processes including extrusion, machining for details, and assembly using welding or adhesives.
