Plastic Cutters

Plastic cutters are tools used to cut plastic. Most common are handheld plastic cutters that consist of a metal blade with a plastic handle.

Plastic cutters are classified as either sheet cutters or tube cutters. Sheet cutters are razor-like knives with large plastic grips used for precision trimming of plastic sheets. Plastic tube cutters, in contrast, are a form of pipecutter used in plumbing and pipefitting. They resemble a pair of garden shears. Plastic tube cutters are preferred to other tools such as hacksaws because they are fast and convenient and produce a clean cut.
