Established in 1979, Transducer Techniques is a designer and manufacturer of a complete line of torque sensors, load cells, special purpose transducers, and many more. Over the years, our load cells have been utilized in a wide variety of applications such as factory automation, process control, and many other applications in science and industry.

The maximum deflection of our load cells does not exceed .012” at full load. Their compact structure keeps installation problems to a minimum, and their small deflection under load enables them to operate with a high-frequency response that other transducers cannot achieve. Finally, they have no moving parts, making them extremely versatile in terms of application. We also have electrical and mechanical accessories available. Accessories include OPT-TEDS, mating assemblies, mating connectors, AC power adapters, DPM-3 power cables, load stems, load buttons, rod end bearings, and many more.

Our team of designers and engineers have the skill set and the experience to create a product that is reliable and will last long-term in the most demanding of work settings. Our technicians have undergone our extensive training program which emphasizes attention to detail and craftsmanship, so our customers can be assured that every product they receive is flawless.

When completed, each of our products is individually tested and calibrated, and each product must pass rigid electrical and mechanical performance testing before it leaves our facility. Our load cells and torque sensors are supplied with at least a one direction calibration certificate traceable to the NIST. Dead weights and transfer standards and all measurement equipment used to calibrate our products are certified on a regular schedule.
