Strand Core was founded in 1973 as a division of Industrial Sales in Baltimore, MD. At that time, they manufactured strands up to 1/8" in diameter, primarily for the automotive industry. We are one of the few companies on the government's Qualified Products List for aircraft control cables and manufactures cable assemblies for helicopter rescue systems. Additionally, our products go into the automotive, aircraft, medical, marine, and construction industries.
