Poly Bags
Most plastic bags are made from polyethylene or polypropylene resins. Poly bags are bags derived from either of the two plastic resins, although the term usually refers to polyethylene bags. Poly bags are available with sliding lock zippers; in the absence of a zip seal they can also be sealed with heat.
Polyethylene is often the material chosen to make shopping bags. Plastic shopping bags are more durable in wet conditions than paper bags.
