TPI Powder Metallurgy has been designing and manufacturing powder metal parts for over 40 years. We specialize in manufacturing custom tooling, fixtures, gages and parts for our customer’s specific requirements. TPI Powder operates out of three facilities, allowing us the capability to offer production machining services for a variety of materials and precision machining services.
At TPI Powder we operate 15 presses which range in capacity from 5 to 220 tons. We also operate three continuous belt furnaces. Our highly experienced staff works with our customers to custom design powder metal parts. Our precise process, which involves compaction and sintering, allows for our parts to be essentially rust free and ready for use or assembly. We do offer a variety of secondary operations readily available to finish the component, such as drilling, vibratory finishing, CNC turning, grooving, CNC milling, oil dip, grinding, boring, tapping and assembly. We also proudly work with several suppliers to offer additional secondary services not offered in-house, such as heat treating, nickel plating, double disc, black oxide, e-coat, centerless grinding, steam treat, phosphorate and oil, zinc plating and OD grinding. Our MTI facility is where we handle our precision machining, specializing in tool and die fabrication, gage construction, prototyping, weldements and fabrications and general machining services. This facility supports our other two facilities with tooling and fixtures and gages that are necessary for production support.
