Rubber Belting
Rubber belting, commonly used in conveyor systems, is composed of rubber compounds and reinforcement materials. Different cover fabrics for rubber belting include cotton, nylon, and polyester. Various cover grades and thicknesses are also available.
Some advantages of rubber belting include abrasion resistance, aging resistance, edge wear, impact resistance, low belt stretch, rot resistance, tensile strength, universal application, and weather resistance. Fire-resistant rubber belting is also available. Rubber belting is utilized in material-transport applications and industries such as food processing, heavy industry, manufacturing, and mining.
