Rocker Switches
Rocker switches are switches that sway when pressed so that one end is raised while the other is depressed, similar to the movement of a rocking chair. Designed for use in low voltage and current level circuits, rocker switches are available in a variety of sizes, ratings, colors, and termination types.
Rocker switches are commonly used in automotives, computer power supplies, and surge protectors. Although they are found most often in portable appliances and electronics, rocker switches are also utilized in the communications, transportation, medical, and automobile industries.
Rocker switches may be marked with a circle (for "on") and a horizontal line (for "off") so that the user knows what position the switch is in. They may also be lighted to indicate on or off status.
