Producing a wide range of highly engineered powdered metal parts and sub-assemblies, we pride ourselves on having a low-cost mass production method of manufacturing high quality, strong, complex parts. Our manufacturing facility located in St. Marys, Pennsylvania houses a full complement of state-of-the-art equipment and technology. With on-site molding equipment which ranges from 4 tons up to 825 tons, and includes a series of multi-action presses.
Comtec Mfg., Inc. is an excellent choice for your powdered metal parts because we are economical and environmentally clean. We also maintain close dimensional tolerances, present a good surface finish and eliminate or minimize machining or assembly operations. We provide materials which may be heat treated for increased strength or wear resistance, reduce scrap losses and provide controlled porosity for self-lubrication. Our facilities manufacture complex or unique shapes, which would be impractical or impossible with other metal forming processes.
