METCOM Inc. was started in 1977 as Howland Manufacturing Corporation of Tennessee. Our diverse customer base includes a wide variety of industries, such as filtration, bag house components, appliance, lighting, dust collectors, table bases, and many more. Metcom’s in-house tooling department is capable of building tooling to match your product to our processes and equipment.
Many times we combine our processes to save you money. Our secondary operations include trimming, beading, spot and projection welding, riveting, and hole piercing. Metcom’s equipment is of the latest technologies with CNC machines in our tool room, spinning department, and press room. Operating in an 80,000 square foot facility, our employees are dedicated to meeting all our customers’ requirements, who are located throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Europe, and South America. Our certification of ISO 9001 has improved our processes and helped reduce the certification process with new customers.
