Heat Sealer
A heat sealer is a machine that uses heat to seal a product's packaging. There are two different kinds of heat sealers: continuous and impulse. Continuous heat sealers use heated belts while impulse heat sealers use a stationary unit to seal the package.
Plastics can be formed into any desired shape when heat and pressure are applied and continue to retain this shape when cooled. Sealers use this principle of plastic, melting plastic film so that two sheets melt together into one, effectively closing the package.
Heat sealers work along with other packaging machinery in order to ready product for shipment. Packaging machines, like the heated sealer, have eliminated the need for many time consuming, labor-intensive tasks that were once done by hand. Heat sealers can operate at a much higher speed than manual labor, saving companies time and money.
