Illinois Lock Company is a manufacturer of locks, handles, and drawer slides. We were founded in 1930 on Taylor Street on the West side of Chicago. We remained at this location until moving in 1960 to our current facility in Wheeling, Illinois. Five years later, The Eastern Company purchased Illinois Lock. By adding the manufacturing capabilities of Illinois Lock and other lock producers together, we are able to increase our product line while reducing the price.
Illinois Lock Company designs, develops and manufactures mechanical locks, electro-mechanical locks, locking handles, ball bearing drawer slides, mechanical keyless entry systems and electronic keyless remote systems. We also design and manufacture custom high volume stampings, light assemblies, and castings with manufacturing capabilities at our wholly owned Asian facilities.
