Strip heaters are small electric heaters that can be clamped or bolted onto a surface for direct transfer of heat to a solid object or for the heating of air in an enclosure. Strip heaters are usually flat, straight and similar in shape to a ruler, but they are often finned for fuller heat radiation when they are used to heat air.
