Custom Nameplates
Custom nameplates include plates or plaques that are custom designed with a name on the front. Custom nameplates can be used to display personal names, product names, personal title, or other information. Since they are manufactured to the customer's specifications, custom nameplates can take on various sizes, shapes, finishes, and aesthetic appearances.
Custom nameplates can be produced through numerous methods. For plastic and wooden nameplates, the names are etched into the material through a number of processes, including mechanical engraving, laser engraving, or whittling. Plastic and wooden nameplates are used more frequently in offices because they are less expensive than metal nameplates. Custom metal nameplates, like those made out of bronze, tend to last longer and cost more.
Industrial strength custom nameplates are manufactured to withstand harsher operating environments compared to those used in the home and office. Industrial custom nameplate manufacturers can offer a variety of different nameplates for numerous applications. Common materials used for these nameplates include aluminum, stainless steel, or titanium.
Custom nameplates are available with many variations. Varying features of custom nameplates include material, thickness, custom graphics, screenprinting, serialization, meeting military standards, etching, anodizing, adhesive backing, UL and CSA approval, and embossing.
