Cable Locks
Cable locks provide protection of a wide variety of goods. Typically, cable locks offer a high resistance to various cutting techniques even though they are often smaller and lighter than other locks. Although they can be constructed from several materials, steel is often used to provide higher strength. Cable locks are especially useful for bicycles, although they are used to secure many other goods as well.
Cable locks offer many benefits to various consumers. They are small, lightweight, easy to use, and less expensive than U-locks. They also act as a visible theft deterrent for all kinds of gear, such as computers, monitors, printers, TVs, VCRs, projectors, autos, trailers, bikes, and motorcycles. Cable locks can also be used to secure ladders, lawn mowers, and other equipment.
Cable locks feature quick and easy installation and various color, material, and cable length options. If desired, several accessories are also available for cables locks. The downside of cable locks is that they are less secure than heavier-duty U-locks.
