Automated Blasting Systems

Automated blasting systems are engineered to have a design similar to batch processing, conveyor-type systems. To remove paint, dirt, rust and debris from parts, they are loaded then moved through an impact blasting station and a blow-off station. An automatic filling device pulls from a storage vessel of blasting media to keep the process going. Fixed air-driven jets inside the blasting chamber shoot the media at the parts as they tumble around. Parts are then air-blown/shaken off.

Automatic blasting systems with multiple load baskets are able to process a large variety of part sizes and shapes. Automatic blast chambers can utilize recirculating media systems and can be as compact as 50 x 64 inches. Remote controlled and semi-automatic blast systems are available as well as ones with automatic and manual operation options.
