Air Compressor Pressure Switch
Air compressor pressure switches control the pressure between two preset
values on air compressors. These pressure-operated switches are devices that
sense changes in pressure and respond, according to a set point, with pressure
fluctuations. When an air compressor pressure switch is actuated, it will open
or close to interrupt or continue the flow or current involved. Depending on
the application, an air compressor pressure switch may be set to a certain
pressure or actuation point to which it will automatically respond.
Air compressor pressure switches can detect leaks that are
occurring and shut down the process they control until the problem is fixed
and an operator restarts the operation. Because they are designed to handle various situations, they are useful for
applications such as in filters, blowers, generators, off-road equipment, compressors,
turbines, wastewater applications, panels, and pipelines. Air compressor pressure
switches are specifically designed for alarm, shutdown, and control of many
processes and equipment.
